Tunage: Fall jams

Two albums I've been excessively into this month are 'Pines' by A Fine Frenzy and 'Repave' by Volcano choir (one of Bon Iver's side projects). They both have a really autumny feel about them and they've been perfect to jam while cozying up in my apartment with some homework and candles (romancin'). Today I listened to Byegone by Volcano Choir on repeat while walking to campus this morning and looked down at my feet crunching through piles of leaves and felt the utmost sense of contentment. Repave came out earlier this month and I have to admit, it's the very first song that I've actually gone and purchased off of iTunes and I don't regret it whatsoever.

Pines has been out for a while (2012) but I just recently re-discovered it a midst my vast collection of music on my lap top and I've been oh so into it. I can't usually get this into female vocalists (don't ask me why because quite frankly I haven't the slightest of clues), but this woman has the voice of an angel and the most eloquent lyrics so. I think that my favourite tune off this album is 'Winds of Wander'.
